1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bank Parser ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Bank Parser is operated by Bank Parser ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service allows users to convert Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Capital One PDF statements to Excel/CSV format.

2. Service Description

Bank Parser provides automated conversion of Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Capital One statements from PDF format to Excel (XLSX) or CSV format. The Service supports Chase (2015-2025), Bank of America (2013-2025), Wells Fargo (2014-2025), and Capital One (2009-2025) Business and Personal statements.

  • QuickBooks-ready 17-field output format
  • Automatic categorization and data extraction

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing and Payment

Bank Parser operates on a pay-as-you-go model. Users purchase operations (transaction credits) to convert bank statements.

Pricing:

  • 200 free operations on registration (no credit card required)
  • Pay-as-you-go pricing starts at $0.01 per transaction
  • Volume discounts available (up to 60% off)
  • No monthly subscription or hidden fees

All payments are processed securely through our payment processor. We do not store credit card information on our servers.

Refund Policy: Operations are non-refundable once purchased. However, if you experience technical issues with conversion quality, contact our support team for assistance.

5. Data Privacy and Security

We take data security seriously. All uploaded files and converted data are:

  • Transmitted over HTTPS with 256-bit encryption
  • Automatically deleted from our servers immediately after conversion
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Processed on secure servers in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Use the Service for illegal activities or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Overload our servers with excessive requests (rate limiting applies)
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
  • Upload bank statements that you do not have legal rights to process

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos) are owned by Bank Parser and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your uploaded files and converted data. We do not claim any rights to your financial data.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BANK PARSER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Errors or inaccuracies in converted data (always verify output)
  • Service interruptions, downtime, or technical issues
  • Third-party actions (payment processors, email providers)

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Converted data will be 100% accurate (always verify critical data)
  • All bank statement formats will be supported
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bank Parser, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your uploaded files or converted data

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes
  • Inactivity for 12+ months

Upon termination, unused operations (credits) are forfeited and non-refundable.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Delaware.
